Guest Post: Watch Out! This Shark Party Will Bite Ya!!

Hello Lovelies! We are so excited here at B. Lovely Events to be guest posting today on the Home Seasons Blog. As summer is almost coming to a close we wanted to enjoy the last days of sunshine by showing you one of our favorite trends this summer…a shark party! With the ever growing popularity of shark week, shark themed parties started popping up everywhere and we must say we are quite smitten for this theme for a summer pool party. Whether it is a birthday party for a youngster or for the more mature and wise or just a party to enjoy the water and sunshine, Shark parties always pack a bite of loveliness. We love shark parties because even though they may be one of the most dangerous creatures in the water, at parties, their faces are just too darn cute on everything! Chalk It Up – Chalkboard Themed Back to School Ideas

We’re reaching the end of our back to school themed posts! Though we’re sad that we’re going to have to wait a whole year to blog more about back to school, we’re still excited to share a few more ideas with everyone before we pack away our school supplies.

Back in elementary school, I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up because I loved drawing on the chalkboard. Fast forward (many, many) years later, and the obsession is still ever so present. There’s just something about the chalkboard that brings back so many memories! So in today’s post, we’re dedicating it to chalkboard themed ideas that are perfect for back to school!

Summer BBQ Ideas – Condiment Bar

Summer is all about the barbecues (or BBQ for short!), and we love looking up new ideas to help us host an even better barbecue. This got us thinking–what would make our usual barbecue even more convenient for our guests? How about a condiment bar!

If your barbecues are anything like ours, we’re constantly looking for the ketchup and mustard. By the time we find them, our burgers are cold! Just imagine our frustration!  So this summer, we’re going to try out a condiment bar for our barbecues. We found some ideas that we think are worth a try, so keep reading to check  them out!

Cupcake liners make for easy clean up!

Via iVillage

Consolidate the condiments and utensils all in one place with a DIY caddy from a cardboard drink holder!

Let your guests see all the available condiments by serving them on tiered trays.

Via Project Wedding

Keep condiments cool in the hot summer heat by using an ice bucket!

Via Wheat Paste

Label condiments with fun homemade labels to differentiate between different types.

We can’t wait to try some of these ideas out this summer at our next barbecue. We especially like using the cupcake liners to minimize cleaning (who wouldn’t like that)! Let us know your favorite condiment bar ideas, or your own ideas,  below in our comments!
