Since we dedicated yesterday’s blog to an all white Labor Day party, we’re coming back today with a more colorful party idea for Labor Day weekend (also known as LBW)! Did you know Labor Day (along with Memorial Day and 4th of July) is also synonymous with red, white, and blue?
Today, we’re going to share with everyone more red, white, and blue party ideas for Labor Day. Don’t forget to check out our 4th of July posts earlier in the summer as well for even more RWB party ideas!

Since 4th of July is tomorrow, I’m sure many of you have already gotten the party decor part down (or at least we hope so!) All that’s left is to prepare our patriotic outfit! Though it may sound easy to throw on a red, white, and blue outfit and call it a day, we love planning our outfits ahead of time for special occasions.
Last week, we posted a few patriotic outfit ideas in our blog (click here for part 1), where we shared with everyone some of our favorite red, white, and blue inspired outfit ideas to try. Guess what? We’re back with even more 4th of July outfit ideas that we’ve found! Keep scrolling for outfits!

Striped shirts are staples in many of our closets. Choose one in a red or blue striped, and pair with a neutral white skirt.
With an American flag bandana (available at HomeSeasons.com), tie it around your forehead for a patriotic splash of color.

Try a maxi or midi skirt for a day out at the park, with accents of red in the accessories.

Peplum is a popular trend that we think is here to stay. Love this red, white, and blue striped peplum shirt with red pants for brunch with friends and family.
This outfit idea is fun and patriotic, with accents of leopard to compliment the red, white, and blue patriotic colors.
We have 1 more day to plan our outfits for 4th of July, so we hope this post gave everyone some ideas to try. We love dressing up for holidays! Do you? Let us know in the comments below!
There’s only 1 week left until 4th of July! Time is passing by so fast! On 4th of July (or in the summer), the hotspot of any party is definitely the refreshments area. In the sweltering weather, nothing beats the heat more than a wide variety of drinks, preferably in a self-serve station so we can keep re-hydrating ourselves!
There are so many fun ways to organize all the refreshments for any 4th of July party. Some even serve red, white, and blue themed drinks! In today’s post, we’re going to share with everyone some patriotic refreshments bar/area ideas to try next week on 4th of July. Here are some of our favorites!

Summer starts on June 21st this month, and to us, summer means popsicles galore! Whether we’re going to be hanging out on the boardwalk, in the city, or just in our own backyard for the summer, popsicles are definitely a staple.
For 4th of July, we can’t just be having any old kind of popsicle. We have to represent our red, white, and blue! Though it may sound like a difficult treat to make, it’s actually easy! Today, we’re going to share with you a few ingredient ideas to make your own at home!

There are many ways to make the red, white, and blue layers using different fruit purees, juices, and yogurts. Here are a few ideas to try. Feel free to mix the ingredients within the same color family to make a juicy combo!
For shades of red (add a little bit of honey and a few drops of lemon for flavoring):
- Pink grapefruit
- Blood orange
For shades of white:
- Coconut milk
- Greek yogurt (sweeten with a bit of honey)
- Plain yogurt
For shades of blue (add a little bit of honey and lemon for flavoring):
Once you have each layer of colors prepared, the next part is super easy. You will need a popsicle mold and popsicle sticks. You will be freezing the popsicle in layers. In the first third of the mold, pour in the red juices and freeze. Once frozen repeat the steps with the other 2 colors.
Freeze overnight! When you’re ready to serve, run the bottom of the mold under water for a few seconds to loosen the popsicle from the mold, and enjoy! Try different molds for a fun popsicle! No mold? No problem! Try it with small tumblers.
The possibilities are endless! You can make a whole batch the day before your 4th of July party for everyone to enjoy. Try making some this 4th of July, and let us know how it turned out!
