We’re always fascinated with the newest dessert trend for the holidays. The past few years have been all about cupcakes, cake pops, and macarons. Since we’ve already posted many times about holiday cupcakes and cake pops, today’s post will be dedicated to macarons!
For those of you who don’t know what macarons are, here is a little information about them. Macarons, also known as macaroons, are little desserts made with 2 meringue based cookie sandwiched with ganache or buttercream in the middle. These sweet treats are growing in popularity all over the world.

Many families top their Christmas tree with a star or angel. This tradition comes from way back, where the star represents the Star of Bethlehem, and the angel is from the Nativity story. However, many people are stepping away from this age old tradition to start their own. We now see Christmas trees topped with everything under the sun!
In today’s blog post, we’re going to share with you some unusual Christmas tree toppers that we’ve come across on the internet. Get inspired or just admire!
