Happy National Doughnut Day! + 4 Wacky Doughnuts

The first Friday of every June is National Doughnut Day. Guess what? That’s today! National Doughnut Day was started by the Salvation Army in 1938 as a fundraising effort, and is still celebrated today in many doughnut shops across the country.
