Fall Home Color Trends 2012

When it comes to Fall, warm colors usually take the cake. Fall leaves are falling to the ground and we get inspired by the piles of red, orange, and yellow leaves. However, don’t limit yourself to only those colors! Though traditionally, those colors scream Fall, there are now more colors we can use during this season to complement the originals.

In today’s post, we’re going to share with you some Fall color trends for 2012 that you can use around your home (and even your wardrobe)!

From Interior Design Files

Dark teal is a great complement to the Fall colors.  It is the Fall version of the color that was popular over Spring and Summer.

Purple/plum has been a color that we love, but haven’t seen much in home decor. Fall is a perfect time to introduce this shade into our home.

Pear green is a great transition color. It works well for Spring, Summer, and Fall!

From Inspiration For Home

A neutral to bring all the Fall colors together is definitely brown. Either use in furniture pieces, or as an accent wall.

There are so many color schemes we can use to prepare our homes for the holidays. What are some of your favorite Fall colors? Did we mention one that you like? Please let us know in the comments! We can’t wait to decorate our home with all of these colors.
